MARTHA O'BRIEN

Creative intuition has always come naturally to designer Martha O'Brien.  Over the years, her passion for design has drawn her to venture into many different creative fields.  Martha first flourished in the world of interior design where she had a successful career for eleven years.

In 2001, Martha made her official entrance into the jewelry world, deciding to focus on her lifelong passion for jewelry.  By marrying her creative talents and her natural entrepreneurial spirit, finding success proved to be an easy task for Martha.  In December of 2006, Martha found herself honored to have her first collection introduced to the world by Bergdorf Goodman.  Proving to be an immediate success, Martha's jewelry has been featured in numerous national publications, including Marie Claire, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, and Robb Report.  The accolades do not stop there.  Town&Country Magazine hailed Martha O'Brien in their September issue as being one of "The Fab Five Design Experts," defining her as the "Up and Coming" jewelry designer.

Martha's designs are reflective of her passion for life.  The collection is inspired by an eclectic amalgamation of eastern, western, vintage, and contemporary influences, which is also reflected in her own personal sense of style.  Martha's logo was conceived by a combination of her love of gardenias and her love of travel through Southeast Asia, exploring the symbolism of religious art in architecture.

Martha strives for her collection to resonate with the lifestyle of her clients so that they are able to find numerous pieces they love.  "My collection is a mixture of pieces for all aspects of my clients' lives.  There are pieces for every mood and occasion.  My vision for the collection is to create pieces that work together effortlessly.  My customer has her own sense of style and merely adds my pieces to enhance it.  I create pieces that work for casual weekends in the Hamptons, jaunts to the beaches of St. Tropez and St. Barths or a black tie fundraiser in New York."
